Currently Enrolled at Marshal University, will graduate in Fall 2023 with M.A. in Counseling

B.A. Psychology, San Francisco State

In the process of obtaining a graduate certificate in Violence, Loss, and Trauma.

I apply an existential and relational approach to the treatment of Anxiety; Depression; Trauma, PTSD, and related disorders; ACoA recovery from family dysfunction; ADHD; Personality Disorders and Borderline Patterns. I also work with survivors of narcissistic abuse and family or intimate partner violence.

I have worked with people in substance abuse recovery for 8 years, which opened the door to behavioral therapy, trauma work and spiritual healing. I also led a group for adults with ADHD for 3 years with the national organization CHADD.

My treatment focuses on relationships with self and others, areas of instability and address deficiencies in executive functioning. Trauma work is a layered process and modality will depend on client goals and readiness. I am trained in psychodynamic therapy, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy, prolonged exposure therapy, and I am training in parts work (IFS) therapy.

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University in 2012. In December, I will graduate from Marshall University with an M.A. in Counseling and a graduate certificate in Violence, Loss, and Trauma.

I'm also developing a group for survivors of narcissistic abuse, betrayal trauma, and intimate partner violence that will start in September.
